At LAS VEGAS, Sony isn’t presenting at the show a lot of latest audio products which are portable but it is officially launching a new product that is Walkman NWZ-270 MP3 player‒an all-in-one music player, waterproof and at $99.99.
This version is successor to W-series Walkman NWZ-W262 and been upgraded, having better intuitive controls, lighter design and full waterproofing, allowing you to even swim with your new walkman.
This latest product is available in many colours (blue, white, black and pink), has integrated memory of 4GB and also provides with transfer of music files, drag-drop DRM-free, from iTunes meant for PC, Mac, Windows Explorer or Media Player. Just as other earphones, this product is also available in silicon ear tips of different size.
There isn’t any FM radio as it is only MP3 player and clearly designed for those who are supporting types and don’t like dealing with headphones’ hanging wires and streaming via Bluetooth which is compatible.
Considering the time-out by battery, Sony thinks the device comes with quick-charge function and player takes 8 hours to exhaust. If battery becomes all dead, you need to only charge it for 3 minutes to get adequate juice lasting the playback’s 60 minutes. This is one of the good features.
There is also an important feature of this Walkman that with the passage of battery timing & life, up to eight hours it can be played and has the unique function of recharging quickly. If you see that the battery is about to finish, you have to recharge it up to three minutes and you will have the maximum backup of 60 minutes, which is really a good feature.
